A unique, nonprofit offering programs for Single Moms who receive federal assistance and live in Philadelphia Metro and DE.

Single Mom:

A mother who has a dependent child or dependent children and is widowed, divorced or unmarried. As a Single Mom, she has sacrificed her social and financial independence.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in 2022 of the 15 million single-parent families, 80 percent were headed by Single Moms. Of all single-parent families in the United States, Single Moms make up the majority.

The Kelly Clarkson Show

The Kelly Clarkson Show aired on January 4, 2022, highlighting single parents and the work of our Founder and President, Dr. Crystal Edwards. Dr. Crystal ("cuz she earned that!") talked to Kelly and shared that she started ESM because "I have to be what I didn't have."
